This module automates and streamlines the entire laboratory workflow, from test requisition and sample collection to analysis and reporting of results.
The Health Laboratory Management Module in Med2TEC is an essential tool for modern healthcare facilities, enabling laboratories to operate more efficiently and effectively. Web-based Laboratory management module enables the doctors to prescribe Laboratory Examinations online. Orders can be sent to in-house laboratory or to laboratories outside the hospital via email. Through internet, the system provides an interface to laboratories to receive test requests and enter the results online for doctors’ perusal. This allows seamless communication between doctor, chemist and patient.
Results are received once the examination is complete and saved to the patient’s electronic patient record. Consistent with all the other modules integrated management and financial information is captured and stored as part of the patient’s history and financial account.
This module provides seamless integration with other modules, such as OPD, IPD and OT as per the requirements.
